VWFCI Church Congregation

Victory Word of Faith Church began with humble beginnings rooted in prayer, faith, and obedience to God's call. In the early 1990s, Pastor Dorothy Binwe Namahe — the founder — began meeting with a small group of believers in her living room in Nabbingo. Out of that intimate fellowship, a fire for God's kingdom was ignited. With just a handful of people, God's vision for a thriving church was born.

Through years of faith, perseverance, and spiritual growth, the ministry grew steadily. In 2005, God enabled Pastor Dorothy to acquire land specifically for the ministry, marking a defining moment in the church's journey from a living‑room fellowship to an established house of worship. Since then, the church has seen exponential growth, with many coming to the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Early 1990s

Humble Beginnings

What began in the early 1990s as a small living‑room fellowship with just a handful of believers has grown into a thriving ministry impacting countless lives locally and globally.

In those early days, Pastor Dorothy Binwe Namahe, guided by God's vision, met with people in her home, sharing the Word of God and ministering to a community grappling with spiritual challenges, including false religions, witchcraft, and immorality.

1990s - 2000s

Growth Through Faith

Through prayer, fasting, and unwavering faith, the ministry steadily gained momentum. The church grew from intimate home gatherings to larger meetings as more people experienced the transforming power of God's Word.

This period was marked by deep spiritual foundations being laid, with an emphasis on prayer, biblical teaching, and personal discipleship.

2005

A Defining Milestone

God blessed the ministry with land dedicated specifically for the church — a significant milestone that marked the transition from a home fellowship to an established house of worship.

This became a center for spiritual growth, discipleship, and community transformation. The acquisition of land was a testament to God's faithfulness and provision for His vision.

Senior Pastor & Founder

In 1992, Pastor Dorothy received a life-changing call to Christian ministry. For years, she had suffered from a debilitating illness that no medical or traditional treatment could heal. One evening, during a prayer and fasting session at a local church, she experienced a miraculous healing that left her completely restored. That moment marked her rebirth as a born-again Christian and ignited a deep passion to serve God.

Guided by God's direction, Pastor Dorothy began ministering in her community, addressing the spiritual and moral challenges around her—including witchcraft, false religions, drunkenness, and immorality. She started humbly, going door to door to share the message of salvation, and soon gatherings began in her living room.

From these small beginnings, the seeds of Victory Word of Faith Church Nabbingo International were sown—a ministry founded on faith, prayer, and the transformative power of God's Word. Today, the church stands as a beacon of hope and spiritual victory, impacting countless lives both locally and internationally.
